The Chester is truly a step back into an amazing 1920’s brownstone. Aside from the building itself, the room had wonderful amenities and it felt like home. Drew was extremely responsive and accommodating. The location was prime – so many things to do as well as fantastic restaurants just steps away. If you are not much of a city traveler, please know that the location of The Chester is on a busy street which can be loud to some folks. We had no issues with this at all and were incredibly happy with our stay. Plenty of towels and extra linens and pillows were a plus. Could not have chosen a better location for our trip!
The space was great
The space was great. The stairs up are a bit wonky, but it is an old building. The host was very responsive to any concern we had. I hope he is able to sort out the TV responding to remote signals from other units though.
Restful place to recharge when taking in the sites of downtown Boston.
Positive:
I liked the location, how central it was to the city. Also the hotel was very quiet and restful.
Negative:
It was a bit loud with the traffic but that’s not really something that can be controlled.

La ubicación es magnífica, estás a pocos minutos caminando de Prudencial y de otros puntos de interés de la ciudad a los que puedes llegar caminando o si quieres tomar el metro. Es un edificio renovado, el apartamento está muy lindo y con todas las comodidades, muy limpio. Recomendado 100%

Al quedar en plena avenida en las noches hay algo de ruido de los carros y policía, pero es entendible porque está ubicado en una vía concurrida.
My second time staying at The Chester and it was great again
My second time staying at The Chester and it was great again! The apartment was clean and bedding is comfortable. Extra room for my college student to stay a few nights while we moved him into his new housing is ideal. Location is perfect for getting around town to do everything we needed for the move. Will definitely stay there again.

The place was exactly as pictured and just as nice as expected—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. However, future guests should be aware that the room is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, easy to miss this detail in the description

Wir hatten nur einen Tür Code, benötigten aber 2 (Eingang - und Zimmertüre). Daher hatten wir einige Probleme und Telefonate bis wir im dunkeln schließlich das Zimmer beziehen konnten
Great hotel for our girls trip
Positive:
This hotel was within walking distance of several great restaurants and the area felt safe to walk around even at night. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and pull out couch. The kitchen was stocked with a hot plate, pots, pans, a mini fridge, coffee maker etc. The bedding and bath linens were good quality and they provided plenty of both. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel!
Negative:
From the hotel, you could hear the usual city noise but it's also close to a hospital and fire department so there were sirens throughout the night.

Lovely decor, spacious and clean. Easy to access and in a fairly walkable area.
Negative:
Not enough counter space in bathroom and no kitchen towels for cleaning up after using the well stocked kitchen area.

Our stay here was lovely- conveniently located, beautiful room, looks just like the photos. Yummy coffee and pot were also provided. Be aware that street noise is LOUD starting around 7am - it’s a main road so that comes with the territory.

Nem adgang til byen, vi kunne gå derfra.
Vær opmærksom på nabolaget. Vi kom ind fra “den forkerte” side. Miljøet ændrer sig fra gade til gade, men lige netop lejligheden ligger på et fint hjørne over en lille restaurant, og går man den “rigtige” vej, er det fint.
Der var efterladt et skod og et låg til en kop, da vi kom til lejligheden, der ellers var meget pæn ren. Det var ærgerligt for oplevelsen. Derudover manglede vi lys det første døgns tid.
Når alt kommer til alt, ville jeg nok booke igen 🙂

Fresh new beautiful space and would be 5 stars but did not have hot water my last 3 days there and it is located at corner of Mass Ave. and Tremont and extremely noisy at night. Host was responsive but did not fix hot water issues during my stay… and not much to do about noise… just be aware of area.
